Christmas Workshop

Homeschool Elementary Christmas Gift Workshop. We had 50 kids signed up to complete 10 projects each in 2 hours. It was so much fun. I am so thankful to all the ladies to helped make this happen. And my hubby.
Table #1: Sugar Scrubs

Table #2: CD Sleeves decorated for holding large cookies

Table #3: Individual packets of Hot Cocoa. You can see Tables #4 & 5 in the background, but I must have gotten distracted because I don't have pictures of them. #4 was fire starters. #5 was individual cakes in a cup.

#6: Marshmallow Shooters

#7 Wagon Train Rag Dolls

#8 Recipe Cards

#9 Gak/Slime

#10 Sock Babies

Words of Wisdom

"The significant problems we face today cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them."
---Albert Einstein

"Don't give away to others what you have not first given away at home."
---Elizabeth George

"The greatest tragedy in not death, but life without purpose"
--Rick Warren

"What does it mean to be Christlike? Chrsitlikeness expresses itself in a tenderness and mercy that forgive sin and in a strength and boldness that pursue the offender regardless of the cost or the risk. It means being willing to submit ourselves to suffering."
--Dan Allender

"Whatever [your husband] is like, he is God's good and perfect gift to you, part of God's plan for your personal fulfillment and, more important, for your spiritual development."
--Elizabeth George

"Collective fear stimulates herd instinct, and tends to produce ferocity toward those who are not regarded as members of the herd."
--Bertrand Russell

"It is far better that the job [of being a husband] be done poorly by your husband than to be done well by you."
--Debi Pearl

"Of all the animals, the boy is the most unmanagable"
--Plato

“Most of the sins we do not commit are not because of our virtue, but because we lack the energy or opportunity”
--Eugene Peterson

"The many troubles in your household will tend to your edification, if you strive to bear them all in gentleness, patience, and kindness. Keep this ever before you, and remember constantly that God's loving eyes are upon you amid all these little worries and vexations, watching whether you take them
as He would desire. Offer up all such occasions to Him, and if sometimes you are put out, and give way to impatience, do not be discouraged, but make haste to regain your lost composure."
