Hanna Montana

So I'm sitting here waiting for 10am to roll around. 10am sharp! I'm logged into TicketMaster waiting anxiously. We are buying Hanna Montana....or at least going to try to buy them...for Makensie, my niece, sister and myself. I can hardly believe we are doing this. It will be a big surprise for the girls, we plan to make a day out of it. This whole process is new to me and I have been greatly educated this last couple of days on the how to's of buying a ticket. Did you know you had to live in the state of the concert to buy tickets for it? At least for this one you did. Did you know that when I originally looked at tickets they were selling for anywhere from $200-1200 dollars? What? I guess that was due to scalpers buying them up? Oh...about time...I'll be back! tickets. Wow, that was crazy! The concert closest to us sold out what seemed immediately. After 25 mintues of checking for 4 tickets, 2 tickets, plaza seating, best available at any price seating, at Little Rock, Memphis, St. Louis, Denver...nothing. Everything was gone. This little girl is really popular right now. I'm disapointed that I won't get to give this fun memory to Makensie, however, the excited I felt to get away and have a day with her, has prompted me to find something else that she truely enjoys and make a day of it just one on one with her and then Gabby.

Have a great weekend.

I don't even know who that is!! And neither do my kids. I guess we're out of the loop.

One of my friends, Kelly, just got her daughter a ticket to a concert. Look at Wally's blog on my site. It has a video of Marley getting the ticket for an early birthday present.

I'm sorry you missed out on that, but I'm sure there are a ton of things that Kenzie would enjoy doing with you. Do you guys ever scrapbook together? Or have "just mommy and me" ice-cream time at Barnett's? My kids love stuff like that! :-) (And it's much cheaper!!)

Oh my gosh, she is truely all the craze with the kids. All the other moms in Indy were trying to get the tickets too. No one got any. I have no idea how they could have gone that fast. I think it has something to do with being a part of her fan club you could purchase them earlier. Maybe that's where they went. No idea. Gosh, you'd think she was like Bono or something! Hilarious!

I'm sorry you won't be able to do that with her but maybe you could do a girl's day. Maybe like a spa or massage, or facial or nails. That kind of thing that any girl would love...mani pedi...gotta love it! Oh, and then go to Starbucks and do girl talk and maybe watch a total chick flick. Now that's my kind of girl's day!
