Impossible!

Has it really been this long since I last posted? I have missed it so. I will just give you all brief updates on our lives today.
Still Alive
selling house
Painted kitchen yellow
Painted Makensie's room lavender
Painted Gabby's room yellow
Painted Brian's room sky blue
Laying carpet tomorrow
Week 9 of book study "Shepherding a Child's heart"
My mom visited for 1 week.
Getting organized for home school to start...maybe next week.
Allen is moving his business to a better prime location and the rent is $700 less a month.
Allen will now be able to hire a secretary...and she won't be me!
Have had Wyatt in ER with an ear infection.
Gabby to the Dr with the same.
Still visiting churches and think we have made a decision.
Working with kids on Keepers of the Faith activities - love it!
My brother and his wife blessed me with a niece - Riley.
My sister was here for a visit.
Had a jewelry party and earned $100 in free jewelry.
hosting a baby shower here at my house this week.
Allen bought the kids a trampoline Saturday and it took 2 days to put it together.
Think that is about all the events I can recall.
Oh, we've added studying the proverb of the day to our mornings and last week we talked about how the fool talks a lot. Last night Brian, my chattiest of kids, told Allen, "I'm a fool sometimes because I love to talk!".

Wow-- I only knew about the kitchen paint. I did see paint in your hair the other day, though, so I figured you were hard at work! :-D

Holy cow, you've been busy. Who has time to blog with a schedule like that!?!?

I hope you find the right church for you, I know that can be a seriously difficult and time consuming feat in itself.

I love Sheperding a Child's Heart. That's the way we are trying to raise Lilla. It can be difficult but I believe it will work! Good stuff!

Highway Horror

We were on our way back to college after a fun weekend trip to a friends home. The windows were down to allow at least the breeze in since it was scorching hot outside and this car had no air-conditioning, in fact, we were lucky it ran at all. And with the windows down, we actually had a nice cross breeze with the holes in the floor board.We were singing to whatever song we could find on the stations in the middle of Kansas on some little mostly unknown highway. It was the quickest route between Manhattan and Wichita. There are many things in life to fear and many things to fear in the flat lands . I had been in Wichita on two separate occasions when there were tornadoes , but this threat was even worse. On a long stretch of quiet highway we enjoyed the beautiful sights of the pastures and sky. Just Silly Random Sayings

In my earlier days when I worked at a night club, I had a pin on advertising " Tequilla Rose" liquor. Some guy says, " Tequilla Rose. I like your name." I decided right then that if I ever ended up needing a porn star name (let's pray not) that this will be my name. While eating outside at Braums in the picnic area. I glanced over to see Gabby was on top of the table dancing like some girl on Soul Train...when did she see that?! and Makensie was taking pictures with her camera. Let's pray also that none of my children ever need a tag name. Conversation with Gabby over last set of shots: her: Why do I have to have them? me: to keep you from getting really sick and die or end up paralyzed. her: What is paralyzed?
